DTS Access

Access to the Cinema for Germany’s Blind and Partially Sighted, Deaf and Hearing-impaired.

As Germany’s DTS Access Agent, TITELBILD is the perfect enabler linking cinemas, film distributors, audio describers and subtitlers to provide long-wanted access to the cinema for the blind and partially-sighted as well as the deaf and hearing-impaired in Germany.

TITELBILD is an active member in an Initiative to provide better access to the cinema for Germany’s hearing-impaired and partially-sighted communities. Subtitles for the hearing-impaired are of course an excellent language-learning tool for both native speakers and foreign language learners as well. Twenty cinemas in Germany are now able to provide access to the cinema and more and more film distributors including KINOWELT and WARNER are taking access to the cinema seriously.
